DRESS REGULATIONS
The working uniform of the day for associated Army & Air Force units is CADPAT or Flight Suit, and is the accepted dress throughout the Mess. Working uniform is also authorized wear for the evening meal. Other appropriate attire include:
Relaxed Dress.
Cloakrooms. The ladies' and gentlemen's cloakrooms at both main entrances to the FFOM provide adequate facilities for coats, jackets, hats and bags. These accoutrements will not be worn or carried into any other part of the Mess.
Special Functions. The PMC may, from time to time, authorize other forms of dress for special functions.

- For relaxed dress, a shirt is one that has a collar (i.e. button up shirt, or golf/polo shirt);
- A turtleneck is considered acceptable for relaxed dress;
- Trousers/pants may include pants with exterior patch pockets but not those made of denim or other similar jean type material;
- Pullovers must not be fleece or vests, and must not have large motifs or slogans;
- In the summer (May - Sept), shorts (being wrinkle free) which are those with an inseam of a minimum length of 15 cm/6 inches, and may have exterior patch pockets (but are not made of denim or other similar jean type material) may be worn; and
- In the summer on the patio, lower bar, and game rooms appropriate sandals may be worn. Appropriate sandals are those that "encase" the entire foot, such as a "sport sandal" and do not include "flip-flops" or other similar forms of footwear.

THE FORT frontenac officers' mess
The Fort Frontenac Officers' Mess (FFOM) is a private club and therefore a "members-only" institution.
Membership requires that you be a commissioned officer within the Canadian Armed Forces and are paying monthly mess dues into the FFOM.
